Life Transitions

Life Transitions
Periods of transition often bring a sense that something is shifting—sometimes clearly and abruptly, or sometimes in ways that are harder to name.
This might involve changes in work, relationships, identity, or direction. Even when the change is chosen, it can come with uncertainty, pressure, or a feeling of being between what was and what comes next.
Many people find themselves asking:
What am I moving toward?
What no longer fits?
How do I make decisions without full clarity?
How I Approach This Work
My approach is informed by established models of transition and change, including the work of William Bridges, Nancy Schlossberg, and Robert Neimeyer, alongside more contemporary perspectives that understand transitions as ongoing, identity-level processes, including the work of Mahshad Aryafar.
In our work, the focus is on developing clarity—not by rushing decisions, but by understanding how you are responding to what is changing, and connecting to the values that guide you in your life.
This often includes:
Clarifying what feels uncertain, and what feels more defined
Noticing how you relate to ambiguity, pressure, or expectation
Identifying patterns in how you approach decisions and change
Making sense of how your sense of self is evolving
Rather than waiting for complete certainty, we focus on building the capacity to move forward in a considered and intentional way.
Working Through Transition
Transitions rarely follow linear paths., and sometimes we swing between direction and doubt. We will work on staying engaged with the emotional process, while also identifying practical ways of moving forward.
This may include:
Trying out different approaches and noticing what shifts
Developing ways to stay grounded when uncertainty increases
Clarifying what matters most in how you want to live and work
Taking steps that feel proportionate, rather than all-or-nothing
What This Work Can Support
Greater clarity in periods of uncertainty
More confidence in decision-making, even without perfect information
A stronger sense of direction and identity
The ability to move forward without needing everything resolved
A more grounded and intentional approach to change
Transitions often reshape how you understand yourself and your life, and hindsight often brings insight.
This work supports you in moving through that process with greater clarity and direction—so that change becomes something you can engage with, rather than something you feel stuck within.
